Pinnacol Hires Timothy Johnson as Chief Human Sources Officer, VP of Employee Providers| Employees Compensation Information

Pinnacol Assurance, an employee compensation company in Colorado, hired Timothy A. Johnson to serve as chief human resources officer and vice president of Employee Services to succeed Barbara Brannen, who has retired as vice president of human resources.

Johnson will lead the people and learning and development teams at Pinnacol, and in that role will play an important role in the company’s efforts toward diversity, equity and inclusion, the airline said. He will also lead Pinnacol’s strategy to invent new post-pandemic work models for the company’s employees.

Johnson has 30 years of global human resources experience. Most recently, he led a number of transformation initiatives, including efforts to measure and improve representation and diversity in the food industry. He has also held senior leadership positions in global companies, from PepsiCo to AutoNation to Dell Inc., where he developed strategies and programs to improve corporate culture and drive both employee engagement and business results.

Johnson received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Oakland University and his master’s degree in industrial relations from Michigan State University.
