‘I am Not a Racist, Damnit!’ White Mom Goes Viral After Emotional Rant at Missouri Faculty Assembly

A Missouri mother’s video went viral over the weekend after she insisted she’s not a racist despite refusing to teach racial justice to children.

At a Rockwood School District meeting in Eureka on Friday, angry white parents called for critical racial theory to be banned even though it is not part of the current curriculum.

According to KSDK, parents booed when a mother named Kelly O’Brien cited a poll that found black students were uncomfortable attending Rockwood schools.

“This is a white echo chamber,” said O’Brien.

One white parent said she had driven from a nearby district where critical racial theory was “widespread”. She called it “child abuse”.

Another woman was “moved to tears when she talked about her little daughter’s regret at being white,” reported KSDK.

“She’s one of the most innocent little girls in the world and she has friends, black and white children in her classroom, and she doesn’t see any difference,” the woman said. “I actually raised my kids to love people and accept people no matter what, and just because I don’t want my kids to be taught critical racial theory at school, I’m not a racist, damn it!”

By Saturday, the woman had been labeled a “racist” on social media, where a clip of her had been viewed thousands of times.

“These people don’t even know what Critical Race Theory is,” noted one commentator. “You just heard Fox News tell you it was your newest boogeyman and you lost your shit.”

“Technically she’s right,” remarked another person. “Rejecting a critical theory of race does not make her a racist. Being racist leads them to defy critical racial theory. “

These people don’t even know what critical racial theory is at all. They just heard from Fox News that it was their newest boogeyman and they lost their shit. 😂

Technically she is right. Rejection of a critical theory of race does not make her a racist. Being racist makes her defy critical racial theory.

If you yell at someone who claims you are racist, you are most likely being genuinely racist

Me, not near this lady or her cause, but kind of screaming from behind:

Yes, it does!! That is exactly what it means!

Um, yes it does. That’s exactly what it means. Just because you don’t understand it’s you doesn’t mean it’s not you, damn it.

“Just because I don’t want my children to know how people who look different from them have been oppressed for centuries doesn’t mean I’m a racist” – a racist
