Madison Cawthorn Scorched for Lie Biden COVID Aid Invoice Does not Embody Homeless Vets

US Representative Madison Cawthorn is under fire again, this time over the lie that President Joe Biden’s COVID Relief Act contains no funds to aid homeless veterans. In a xenophobic tweet, Cawthorn, a Republican from North Carolina who voted against the legislation, slammed Democrats for earning $ 86 million in hotels for unaccompanied children crossing the border to seek asylum.

The Biden administrator just cut $ 86 million to get hotel rooms for ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, but we have zero dollars for our homeless veterans who are at high risk of suicide.

In response, many cited the US rescue plan allocating billions to homeless vets and spending an additional $ 1.6 billion through the Veterans Administration budget on homeless veterans.

The American rescue plan, which @CawthornforNC voted against, has allocated $ 14.5 billion to veterans, including suicide prevention and combating homelessness.
