Law360 (April 30, 2021, 6:11 p.m. EDT) – A California federal judge has dismissed a class action lawsuit proposed by a former UPS employee alleging the company systematically endangering the health and safety of workers during COVID-19 to assert injunctive relief as a former employee and not to present her claims for damages and sanctions.

US District Judge William Alsup said in his ruling on Thursday that United Parcel Service had rightly argued in a motion for dismissal that former employee Desdnie Hess was unable to obtain an injunction against the company because she no longer work there.
