Tucker Carlson Slammed for ‘Lie’ Texas Energy Grid ‘Completely Reliant on Windmills’

Some are calling for lawsuits

Four million lost electricity for days. At least three million people are currently without electricity. Dozens have reportedly died in Texas after a storm that came as no surprise apparently took the Lone Star State government and power grid agency by surprise.

Texas Governor Gregg Abbott reached out to Fox News to take no responsibility at all, but rather to smear and blame the deadly power disaster on the Green New Deal, a 2019 proposal to combat climate change that was only used by the Republicans was enforced in the Senate and has come nowhere near law.

Governor Abbott isn’t the only one lying about green energy, which is responsible for the catastrophic mismanagement in Texas that resulted in death this week.

Here is Fox News’ top evening presenter: Tucker Carlson On Tuesday evening, the Texas power grid is “completely dependent on windmills”.

As crazy as Carlson sounds, reading the text of his claims is even more unsettling:

“Without most people knowing that the Green New Deal was coming to Texas, the power grid in the state relied entirely on windmills, then it got cold and the windmills broke, because that’s what happens in the Green New Deal when you don’t have electricity – Millions are still without power tonight, “Carlson told Fox News viewers. “Several died. Now the same energy policies that destroyed Texas this week are coming to their state nationwide. “

Lies, more lies and scare tactics:

Nothing about the frozen natural gas pipelines either, because telling the truth would destroy his narrative.

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes tweeted that Carlson’s claim was, “Just an outright lie. No misrepresentation or spinnable, secured incorrect characterization. A lie.”

Daily Beast editor Justin Baragona clarifies the record, citing a Bloomberg News report:

Again, the main drivers behind the blackouts are “frozen instruments in natural gas, coal and even nuclear power plants, and limited natural gas supplies” and wind turbine downtime, which accounted for “less than 13%” of the failures: //t.co/mICxepN1uq

Now Americans are demanding that Fox News face the same lawsuits they faced when they lied for months about the 2020 election. Voting machine maker Smartmatic is suing Fox News for billions, and Dominion appears to be on the same path.

Look here:

Texas Green Energy Provider:

Sue Fox News. Announce your intentions to sue today. Do it.

Green energy companies must follow Dominion and sue Fox News. https://t.co/N8hLZHAKqU

Green energy companies should sue Fox News for its disinformation campaign. Just like with voting software companies. https://t.co/pFD5Dkhk2R

It all comes from a solid diet from Fox News. Tucker bangs green energy when it accounts for only 17% of Texan energy, but is blamed 100% for the catastrophic energy collapse during an unprecedented weather event. Texas green energy should sue Fox.

Faux news is just afraid of legal proceedings.

I think American green energy companies should create a nonprofit and sue Fox News.

You are literally hurting American workers with such nonsense.

Time for wind turbine makers to sue Fuchs for $ 10 billion.

Can someone with skin in the Green Energy game sue Fox News for perpetuating lies?

– Anaslimedo (@anaslimedo) February 17, 2021

Green energy companies should sue Fox for defamation. It seems that this is the only way to stop lies, manipulation and propaganda.

If the Green New Deal were a person, they could sue Fox News. As it is, Tucker can make blatant false statements about the GND and no one can hold Fox accountable.

I think the companies that supply the green energy in TX should sue FOX.
