Suspect Knew Victims in California Mass Capturing That Killed four Together with 9 Yr Outdated Baby: Police

A gunman shot dead four people, including a 9-year-old boy, late Wednesday night, and the victims and suspects knew each other, Orange County, California police said Thursday.

The “preliminary motive” is said to be “related to a business and personal relationship,” said the police at a press conference, “which existed between the suspect and all victims.”

The police call it an “isolated case” and say: “We believe everyone knows each other.”

“It appears that all adults were linked by either business or personal relationships,” added police. “The child is believed to be the son of one of the victims who worked in the business.”

“This was not an accidental act of violence.”

CBS News adds that the suspect was wounded and “hospitalized in critical condition. ”

This marks the third mass shooting to hit the headlines in just over two weeks. As CNN reports today, there have been at least 20 mass shootings since the Atlanta massacre, in which eight people have been killed.
