Sparks Fly on ABC After GOP Governor Defends Marjorie Taylor Greene as ‘A Little Bit Totally different’

Hardcore conservative Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) accused of threatening Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after he sent a letter to House Spokeswoman Nancy Pelosi promising to find “alternative means” to respond to New York congressmen’s remarks on sentencing his Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz.

“If Representative Ocasio-Cortez does not apologize immediately, we will be forced to find alternative means to condemn this unfortunate statement,” said Congressman Roy in his letter.

What was so bad that a sitting US Senator had to rely on a Congressman to ask for an apology?

MP Ocasio-Cortez appeared to be accusing Senator Cruz of attempted murder – but she was not wrong.

“I’m happy to work with Republicans,” she said on Thursday, “where there are similarities, but you almost had me murdered three weeks ago so you could expose them.”

Cruz is one of the instigators of the deadly January 6 riot in which Trump supporters hunted down lawmakers and the Vice President.

Rep. Roy’s letter to Speaker Pelosi states that it is “totally unacceptable for a member of Congress to bring this type of bizarre charge against another member of the House of Representatives or the Senate because of the interpretation of the Constitution Has let in speeches and debates about voters. Please give her a call to apologize immediately and withdraw her comments. “

Rep. Chip Roy tells Pelosi that @AOC “essentially accused Senator @TedCruz of attempted murder”.

Cruz didn’t just make a speech in the Senate. He traveled to Georgia to “stop the theft”. Last week, seven Senate Democrats filed an official complaint asking for an ethical investigation into Cruz’s role. This letter describes Cruz’s incitement to act.

Former Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke said: “The point here is that Ted Cruz supported and facilitated a riot that killed five people, including a police officer, and almost ended in the murders of members of Congress and the Vice President . “

Congressman Roy received abuse on social media.

Chip Roy and all of the riotous GOP owe America an apology for throwing us into the chaos of rioting that THEY created with their lies about widespread electoral fraud.

Lies they STILL tell.

Chip Roy embodies the GOP, who accuses the victim of setting fire to verbal terrorism in which they are implicated: exposing people to unimaginable violence and then asking why they condemn the violence.

GOP Rep Chip Roy said that if Dems fail to handle this, the GOP will use “alternative means”. @AOC was a target in an assassination attempt and the threat to use alternative means to deal with it sounds like a direct threat to a seated member of Congress https://t.co/jgNPLUtE2u

Hey Chip Roy, is that you? https://t.co/Zff5MWe6aa pic.twitter.com/SWo7cNVL17

Chip Roy threatens directly in his letter …

What bothers me most is the statement that if @AOC doesn’t apologize to Ted Cruz, Chip Roy says, “We’ll be forced to find alternative means to condemn this unfortunate statement.” … Like WTF, that means at all? Is that another threat?

So Chip Roy is more offended by AOC calling out Ted Cruz for fueling a riot – which also led to death threats being issued against her – than Marjorie Taylor Greene’s well-documented sympathies for domestic terror? The @GOP needs to be burned down.

This letter, which Chip Roy sent to Speaker Pelosi, should be viewed as a direct threat to a Member of the House (“We will be forced to find alternative means to condemn this unfortunate statement …”).

Uh, “we will be forced to find alternative means to condemn this unfortunate statement” definitely sounds like a threat https://t.co/texEvYk6SL

– Parker Molloy (@ParkerMolloy) January 29, 2021

that sounds like a threat and has to be pulled back by ole Chip Roy

– Mike Wagner (@MikeWagsVA) January 29, 2021

“Alternative means” sounds like a death threat from Chip Roy …

– DisaffectedGolpedeEstado (@Disaffectedand) January 29, 2021

Chip Roy does anything with the rioters in this case. And his mob-esque threat to the Speaker of the House is entirely on the brand. This letter doesn’t even deserve an answer …

– Curtis Jefferson (@curtisjefferson) January 29, 2021

Chip Roy just sent a letter to Pelosi today that reads like a perpetrator’s threat.

“If you don’t stop telling people about the abuse, we will use ALTERNATIVE MEANS to silence you! You hear me? ALTERNATIVELY MEANS! Don’t push us, we have guns and you know we will use them! “
