Rooting for Putin: Gaetz Compares Russian Chief’s Demand to Debate Biden to ‘Rocky IV’ however Says US President Would Lose

US MP Matt Gaetz (R-FL) plays Oddsmaker after Russian President Vladimir Putin insisted that President Joe Biden agree to discuss it “live online” in an attempt to further undermine US democracy.

Gaetz, a far-right lawmaker, showman, and MAGA acolyte who recently offered to quit his job as the elected representative of the Florida people to represent Donald Trump in the impeachment court, is now betting on the Russian leader over his own American president.

“Putin and Biden, it wouldn’t end like ‘Rocky IV’. I don’t think the American would prevail,” Gaetz told Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Thursday evening.

But Gaetz, who always defends Trump and even denies that the former president or his election campaign had anything to do with Russia despite reports from the US intelligence community, was not done with attacking the Democratic president – and at the same time supported the Russian.

“Obviously, Vladimir Putin, who is effectively trolling the President of the United States, and I want to make sure we are the strongest country on the international stage, and it doesn’t help that Joe Biden admits these globalist entities in almost all international negotiations.” Gaetz claimed to use a bow in conservative circles, and often an anti-Semitic one.

He went on to attack Biden’s (early) plans to levy taxes on Americans who earn over $ 400,000 for “violence against our country.”

“And when it comes to the Harris-Biden relationship,” concluded Gaetz, “everyone in Washington knows that every time Kamala Harris shakes hands with Joe Biden, she checks his pulse.”
