Pa. Superior Courtroom Lawyer’s Incapacity Discrimination Claims Towards AOPC Partially Advance

A paraplegic attorney serving as an administrative attorney for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court alleging that the Unified Justice System discriminated against and rejected him for applying for workplace accommodation may proceed with part of his lawsuit.

US District Judge Juan R. Sánchez of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said plaintiff Francis Giordano’s claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title VII may be moving forward. and that he could resubmit his Family and Medical Leave Act claims, but his Pennsylvania Human Relations Act claims were dismissed with bias.
