McCarthy Destroyed for Threatening Maxine Waters With Censure – ‘She Didn’t Incite an Riot’

Kevin McCarthy, House Republican Minority Chairman (R-CA) is under fire after threat US Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA), the chairman of the financial services committee, with criticism and allegation that she “broke the law”. Waters is used as a front man by the right after traveling to Minnesota to speak to Black Lives Matter protesters and tell them they must continue the confrontation.

“We have to stay on the road and we have to be more active, we have to be more confrontational. We have to make sure they know we mean business, ”Waters said on Saturday as activists protested the murder of 20-year-old Daunte Wright by a Brooklyn Center police officer.

Waters on Monday cleared up her remarks after the right wing riot.

“I’m talking about confronting the judicial system, confronting the police, I’m talking about speaking out. I’m talking about legislation. I am talking about elected officials doing what needs to be done to control their budgets and pass laws. “

But McCarthy and his right-wing extremists, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, attacked, and Greene said she wanted to deport Waters.

“This weekend in Minnesota, Maxine Waters broke the law by breaking the curfew and then inciting violence,” McCarthy falsely claimed. “Speaker Pelosi is ignoring Waters’ behavior – so I’m introducing a resolution to reprimand Rep. Waters for making dangerous comments.”

McCarthy’s motion is seen as pure partisan policy and fundraising fodder. Social media users were angry.

It did not instigate or support insurrection, or attempt to reverse the results of a valid election, as you and many members of your caucus have. Nor did she storm the capital. Nor has it killed Americans by belittling and undermining basic public health measures like the wearing of masks.
