Marjorie Taylor Greene Says Nancy Pelosi’s COVID Insurance policies Are ‘Precisely’ Just like the Holocaust

Mike Pence, the former Trump Vice President, and Mike PompeoThe former Trump Secretary of State hosted an event called the “Rally of Hope” to celebrate the launch of a Korean cultist’s alleged “think tank” earlier this month. This event was summed up in a recently released propaganda-like video.

Hak Ja Han Moon is the head of what was once called the Unification Church, a Christian offshoot of “cult” (according to some who say they “escaped”), known for mass weddings and for founding and owning the right wing newspaper The Washington Times. The Church, now called the Unification Movement, was founded by her late husband, Rev. Sun Myung Moon. Their acolytes believe that the moons are the Messiah and “True Parents” of humanity.

“Although American Conservatives have long made common cause with the Unification Church,” says David Corn of Mother Jones, “the leader of the team that brought this event together declared not long ago that the” Christian era “is over – meaning Pence and Pompeo, whose professed religious devotion is an important part of their respective political profiles, worked (knowingly or not) with and supported a group that claims they are supplanting the Christianity they embrace. “

Also speaking were former Trump Secretary of Defense Mark Esper and Trump’s ally Newt Gingrich.

“During his videotaped speech,” says Corn, “Pence claimed that the 2022 think tank” brings the wisdom of leaders to government, business, religion and civil society, “and that thanks to this new venture,” the dream of peaceful collaboration and unity “Will be closer to reality than ever before.” (Pence spoke at an earlier and similar rally of hope in March.) Introduced as a “devout Christian”, Pompeo hailed former President Donald Trump’s various commitments with Kim Jong Un , the tyrannical and murderous leader of North Korea. “

“We tried something different,” said Pompeo. (Foreign policy makers have tended to find that Trump’s overly paralyzed remarks to Kim didn’t bring any real headway.) Gingrich praised Moons, the Universal Peace Federation, the Think Tank 2022, and the Washington Times, the conservative newspaper founded by Sun Myung Moon. Esper noted that Hak Ja Han Moon “worked to strengthen America’s role in the world.” He did not elaborate on what he meant by that.

Perhaps most importantly, as Corn notes, no one will say whether Pence or Pompeo was paid to speak. And given the financial resources of the unification movement, which reportedly has one to two million members, this could speak volumes.
