Jewish civil-rights group protests Twitter CEO over not banning Holocaust denial | JNS

The Jewish civil rights movement End Jew Hatred protested outside the California home of Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey on Monday and released audio recordings of tweets denying the Holocaust that were not removed from Twitter.

The group said Dorsey was quick to act on what was deemed “misinformation” regarding politics, the coronavirus pandemic and other relevant topics. But when users spread harmful lies about the systematic murder of 6 million Jews on his platform, he does nothing.

Among the tweets, the group sent outside Dorsey’s home: “The Holocaust is a fake to distract from the truth. 6 million Jews did not die ”; “Joe Biden’s Victory Is As Wrong As The Holocaust”; “The Holocaust is wrong and gay.”

Brooke Goldstein, executive director of the Lawfare Project and founder of End Jew Hatred, said Dorsey tried to ban politicians he believes are hateful, such as U.S. President Donald Trump, but has not banned neo-Nazi material.

“What kind of message is that sending? That he advocates hatred of Jews? Is this hatred of Jews socially acceptable? If it is wrong to deny COVID and its 1.6 million victims, then it is wrong to deny the Holocaust and its 6 million victims, ”she said.

“Jack Dorsey: It’s time for you to end Holocaust denial and anti-Semitism on Twitter.”
