Civil rights activist to talk at Juneteenth collaborative celebration June 17

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Juniteenth is June 19th and as part of this occasion, LSU Shreveport is hosting a joint celebration.

Hear civil rights activist David Dennis speak at the LSUS UC Theater on Thursday, June 17th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. A reception will follow.

The event is hosted by the LSUS Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement (DICE), the State of Black Shreveport and the Cedar Grove Neighborhood Association (CARES).
