Busted: Marjorie Taylor Greene Caught Illegally Claiming a ‘Huge Tax Break’ in Georgia

The local Georgia press caught MP Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) illegally claiming a major tax break.

“An investigation by Channel 2 Action News found that Georgian MP Marjorie Taylor Greene and her husband have two active homestead exemptions in violation of Georgian law. A homestead exemption is a major tax break every Georgia homeowner is entitled to on their primary residence. It is illegal to submit more than one application, ”WSB-TV reported on Friday.

“But Channel 2 investigative reporter Justin Gray has drawn records showing that the Greens received the tax break for two different houses in two different counties,” the network reported.

WSB-TV had an intriguing interaction when it called the Republican’s controversial office.

“In a statement, Greene’s office asked Gray to mind its own business and called it a ‘pathetic smear’ when he asked her about the homestead exemptions,” the network reported. “Greene still owns a house in North Fulton County, but last year she bought a house in Floyd County in the 14th Congressional District to represent her.”

Busted: Marjorie Taylor Greene, illegally captured and claiming a “major tax break” in Georgia, first appeared in the New Civil Rights Movement.
