Biden administration officials say they need to create their own COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan because the Trump administration never bothered to create one.
CNN reports that Biden officials were shocked to learn that former President Donald Trump and his team never bothered to come up with a plan for distributing the vaccine against the novel coronavirus.
“We don’t have to revise anything,” said one official. “We have to build everything from scratch.”

During his final weeks in office, Trump focused almost entirely on scrapping the 2020 presidential election results, and on the rare occasions where he talked about vaccine distribution, he said it was up to the state governments to do the job .
White House COVID coordinator Jeff Zients said Wednesday that the new administration will make coordinating vaccine distribution at the federal level a priority.
