Biden Laughs at and Throws Shade at Trump

In a press conference that remains lengthy and extremely detailed, President Joe Biden struck a blow to former President Donald Trump, who never officially acknowledged Biden or called to congratulate him on winning the 2020 election.

CBS news reporter Nancy Cordes asked Biden in one of the most frequently asked questions of modern president press conferences if he would stand for re-election in 2024.

“You haven’t started a re-election campaign like your predecessor did at the time,” noted Cordes.

“My predecessor had to,” Biden joked with a chuckle.

As he continued to laugh, Biden added, “My predecessor … oh god, I miss him,” he wavered.

And he answered the question.

“My plan is to run for re-election,” announced President Biden, later adding that Vice President Kamala Harris is doing a great job and will be on the 2024 ticket with him.
