Arrested Florida Rioter Thought He Was Breaking Into the White Home and Not the Capitol

A year ago today, April 23, President Donald Trump suggested live in a nationally televised White House press conference that an injection of household disinfectant could be a cure for coronavirus.

“For me it was the craziest and most surreal moment I’ve ever seen at a presidential press conference,” Jon Karl, chief correspondent for ABC News in Washington, told Politico.

Trump’s remarks led to an increase in reported emergency calls from people who had abused bleach and other household cleaning products.

“And then I see the disinfectant, where it’ll turn it off in a minute,” said Trump, standing on the podium behind him with several White House logos. “One minute. And is there a way I could do something like that, by injecting it inside, or almost by cleaning it? Because you see it go into the lungs and it goes into the lungs in a tremendous amount. So it would be interesting to do that too You have to ask doctors to do that. But it sounds – it sounds interesting to me. “

Here is the video of that moment posted by Aaron Rupar from Vox:

I’m a little tired of daily memories of this guy. At this point last year, the public was largely immune to his reckless and dangerous statements. However, this broke through because he was insane even for him. This helped turn an election. https://t.co/iFxafIWLIR

Yes, today is indeed the one year anniversary of Trump’s proposal to inject bleach into humans.

How long has it been since this remark felt to you?

1 year ago: The local cult leader advises his followers to inject themselves with bleach to defend against COVID-19: the local newspaper initially reinforced the message to demonstrate loyalty to the cult but later withdrew for the sake of the public concern back. Cult leader as he has since moved to Florida. https://t.co/h56pvwQFKH

Imagine if Trump had science first a year ago instead of telling us we could drink bleach to “clean” the lungs from COVID. And Dr. Scarf Lady sat and said nothing. https://t.co/TKPkhzjq2I

Dr. Birx should have got up the moment Captain Dumbass mentioned the disinfectant, threw her hands in the air and shouted into the room and into the world, “ARE YOU FUCKING ME? THAT WOULD NOT WORK. THIS IS COMPLETELY STUPID !!! “That she didn’t do it is something she has to live with.

Happy Bleach Injection Day for everyone who celebrates.

A year ago, President Trump told us to inject bleach into our veins to prevent COVID.

Today over two hundred million Americans are being vaccinated because of leadership president Biden.

That is why you are voting in blue.
